Design guidelines
We believe in creating sites that are graphically appealing and contemporay, simple, easy to navigate and use, and focused on the needs of owner and visitor. In designing a website we are aware of search engine criteria, and work to create sites that will be robust and deliver genuine value to the site owners.
Design capabilities
As well as Wordpress etc, we work in PHP/MySql. Work often goes beyond the website aspects of projects, to fulfill offline needs as well, and we frequently design and set up systems that are more CRM than website.
Design & Support
Our approach is based on a partnership – we create a proposed look and feel and ask for your input – once finalised, we build the rest of the site.
Once complete, we are always on hand for corrections, updates etc and even offer a fixed monthly option of only R 200/hour (first hour only) to enourage you to make ongoing changes and updates – this is also handy for search engine marketing, as search engines like frequent content updates.
Nearly all of our newbuild websites are now built in the popular WordPress Content Management System (CMS) – this allows you, the site owner, to easily and quickly make changes to content, (text & images) as well as the structure. WordPress also has plenty of free or inexpensive plugins that allow the site to be expanded considerably in form and functionality.
